36th Annual Tomato Disease Workshop

Vineland Research and Innovation Centre, located in Ontario, Canada is pleased to virtually host the 36th Annual Tomato Disease Workshop (TDW) November 2, 2021.

Launched in 1985, TDW facilitates discussions on pathogen topics including disease etiology, pathogen epidemiology, breeding for disease resistance, disease diagnostics and the use of chemical, cultural and biological disease management strategies for field and greenhouse tomatoes.

Workshop attendees will include public and private sector research scientists, university professors, extension staff, tomato growers, transplant growers, diagnostic services and employees of chemical, seed, biological and processing companies.

Call for speakers
Members of the plant health community are invited to share ongoing research, disease management strategies and address emerging issues.

Individuals who would like to make a presentation are invited to submit a title and brief abstract via email to Ana M. Pastrana ana.pastrana@vinelandresearch.com no later than Sept. 30, 2021.

As spots are limited, presentations will be confined to 10 minutes and dependent on the number of participating speakers. As topics and speakers are submitted, a program will be developed and posted on the program section of the website.
